A Bit About Me

In addition to a Bachelors degree from Rutgers University, where I majored in Psychology and minored in English, I have taken professional courses specifically about writing college essays.  Depending on the students' needs, I lead group workshops or work one-on-one. It gives me great joy to watch students grow through the process of self-reflection and create essays that are authentic and meaningful.  I invite you to visit my Testimonials page.

On a more personal note, after using my writing skills professionally as a recruiter and informally in the non-profit sector, I needed a change.  Working with my daughter on her college applications sparked my interest in college essay coaching. I realized my love of deep conversations and obsession over well-written essays make me particularly suited to the profession. My teenager-friendly sleep schedule is definitely a bonus!
